Note! Fishing on the lake can be excellent any time of day. If you like to sleep in, don’t worry; book your trip when it’s convenient for you! Make your reservations as far in advance as possible to get the date and time you want. It can be very busy during the season!

An ice chest with soft drinks & water is provided. Catch & release or keep your catch, it’s up to you. Fish cleaning is free. We can also provide delicious recipes for cooking your catch. Professional quality photo of your catch can be sent to your e-mail. If you’re staying at a lake side resort or cabin, we might be able to pick you up at your dock.

Big Bear Lake is at an elevation of almost 7000 feet, and because this is a high altitude mountain lake, the weather can change quickly. Dressing in layers to keep you warm when the temperature is cool, or to stay comfortable if it’s warm is a must.
A California Fishing License is required for all fishermen 16 years old or older. Guests that are not going to fish do not need a license, but they can not handle the fishing equipment any time during the trip, or offer any assistance to the fishermen. Licenses can be purchased on-line by going to dfg.ca.gov, click on Licenses and Permits (Click Here). If possible, please buy your license the day before your trip. Early trips this is a must.

Sean has over 25 years of experience fishing Big Bear Lake. Sean's guests have caught the current lake record with a 15lb 6oz rainbow trout and the previous lake record 12lb 10oz rainbow trout. These are the largest trout ever caught from Big Bear Lake with a guide service.
He has been featured on the cover of Western Outdoor News and worked with Captain Curt Dills who had been featured on several TV shows and who’s won 7 major fishing tournaments. Between the two of them they had over 75 years of fishing experience. If you're lucky enough to hook one a Big Bear Lake's trophy rainbow trout, Sean and his crew will be right there with you to make sure you get' em on the boat.
