PRIVATE CHARTERS

Private charters are for your group only, and are for a minimum of two hours, but can be for as long as you like. There can be up to 8 people in your group. Big Bear Marina is a full service marina. If you need ice, soft drinks, beer, snacks, fishing license, etc., you can get it at the marina. Make sure you arrive at the marina early to park your car, get fishing licenses if you need to, and anything else you might want to take on your trip. No refunds on deposits. If you are staying with friends or renting a lake side cabin, arrangements can be made to pick you up at your dock. All fishermen 16 years or older must have a currant California State Fishing License in their possession or you can not fish. Licenses can be purchased at K-Mart (LATE), Big Bear Sporting Goods, and the marina.

CATFISH TRIPS

One of Big Bear Lakes best kept secrets is the Cat Fishing. Cat fishing in the lake is best from June through September. Late afternoons and at night are the prime times. Catfish trips are Private Charter only! These trips are your best chance to catch a fish from 6 lbs. to over 20 lbs. Arrive at the marina early, with your fishing license because the marina may be closed in the late afternoon. No refunds on deposits.

Catfish Private Charters (2 Hour Minimum- up to 8 people).....................$95.00 per Hour. Trip includes all fishing tackle and bait. Professional quality photo of your catch sent to your e-mail. Free delicious recipes for cooking your catch.  

All fisherman 16 years of age and older must have a current California State Fishing License in their possession or you can not fish!

From the signal at Big Bear Blvd/Ca-18 & Paine Rd; Travel north 100 yards to the marina entrance. The boat slip for Fish Big Bear Charters is located at the North end of the parking lot.
