Big Bear Lake is at an elevation of almost 7000 feet and has over 300 days a year of sunshine. Because this is a high altitude mountain lake, the weather can change quickly.

Dressing in layers to keep warm when the temperature is cool, or to stay comfortable if it’s hot is a must.

California Fishing License is required for all fisherman 16 years old or older. Licenses are sold at K-Mart, Big Bear Sporting Goods, and the
Marina. Get your license the day before for early and late trips.

7. Coffee, special soft drinks, food, candy, snacks, beer, wine.
An ice chest is available for anything you need to keep cold!


8. If you plan to keep your fish, you should have an ice chest in your car to keep them fresh after the trip. Please do not bring ice chests to the boat, we have one you can use. Cold storage bags for your fish are available at the marina.
